AGOS Japan is a private school for those preparing for full-time studies abroad. The company administers courses designed to help students get better score in TOEFL, GMAT, GRE, and SAT, which are required in undergraduate and/or graduate programs including MBA and LLM courses. AGOS Japan also offers counseling for gaining admission to schools, writing essays and passing interviews.

The IFRS Foundation is an independent, not-for-profit organisation that works in the public interest to develop – via its standard-setting body, the International Accounting Standards Board (IASB) – and promote the use of a single set of high quality International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRSs).

Main activities
  • The IFRS Foundation Asia-Oceania Liaison office provides a dedicated, regional point of contact for stakeholders interested in, or affected by, the work of the IFRS Foundation and the IASB.
  • It will be used as a research hub and as a platform to deepen the organisation’s cooperation with stakeholders in the Asia-Oceania region.

The Japan Foundation for Accounting Education & Learning was established through collaboration among members of the Japanese Institute of Certified Public Accountants, as well as members of the business community, academia, and other related fields, to serve as an accounting education organization that provides training for people engaged in a broad range of accounting and auditing activities.

Main programs offered
  • Seminars designed for accounting personnel at companies, certified public accountants, and people who have passed the certified public accountant examination, on topics such as applied accounting and auditing, led by lecturers such as accountants and auditors currently working at corporations and auditing firms (a total of 2,828 people participated in the seminars in fiscal 2011)

  • The CFA Institute Research Challenge in Japan, a competition on corporate analysis among the teams of university students in which their skills of research and analysis are evaluated and awarded, is held.
