Overview
Crises and sudden changes in risk appetite prompt periodic flights to safety and quality. This presentation discusses whether traditional safe havens such as gold, the Swiss franc, U.S. dollar and U.S. Treasury bonds are that safe. Numerous examples are given to illustrate key points.
